Amanda not fired from "Hall Pass"

E! Online posted an article stating that Amanda was not actually fired from Hall Pass and no intervention was staged to get Amanda back on track and cure "bad behavior" as was previously reported, accoring to Amanda's reps. The article is availible here.

Am I the only one who thinks it's about time her reps spoke up for her? I hope they're not getting paid much for doing a horrible job. Expect a statement from them next year on Amanda's retirement.

Rope of Silicon and Slashfilm, noted film/Hollywood industry blogs, picked up the news of Amanda dropping out of Hall Pass, and you can read about it here and here.

The articles give no news on why Amanda left the project, just scheduling conflicts as we heard before, but who knows what those scheduling conflicts are, as Amanda has recently tweeted that she's been bored!

So maybe I won't be leaving yet!

Amanda's 'Hall Pass' revoked?

Earlier, it was reported by reputable entertainment websites and news sources and Amanda herself, that she'd been cast in the comedy Hall Pass. Now, Amanda's tweets are telling a different story.



From today:

It's a huge cast and i was going to do a little part but it didn't work out timing wise!! I have NO idea why people think I'm there filming!

FYI I am NOT in Atlanta doing a cameo in Hall Pass like people think!! I was, but I left because of scheduling conflicts!!!

Before those two tweets, Amanda said:

Everything happens for a reason.

It seems that Amanda was either replaced, her character was written out of the script, or she backed out herself. This is NOT confirmed, but something fishy is defintely going down! Maybe Amanda is too cool for school!

Hall Pass picks up steam

Filming for Amanda's new movie, the Farrelly Brothers' comedy Hall Pass, began Tuesday in Atlanta and picked up some more high profile cast members.

In addition to previously announced Jenna Fischer, Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, JB Smoove, Stephan Merchant, and Nicky Welan, Christina Applegate, Alyssa Milano, Larry Campbell, and Vanessa Angel will join the cast.



Amanda also gave out more details about her character on her Twitter; she plays Owen Wilson and Jenna Fischer's sexy babysitter, and calls it her first semi-edgy role.

Amanda was spotted shooting at Emory University, where fraternity houses are being converted into sorority houses for the shoot.

I have one thing left to say, "It's a SO-rority, not a HO-rority."

Amanda Bynes gets a 'Hall Pass'

Amanda will co-star in Hall Pass, beginning filming February 23rd in Atlanta!

Hall Pass was written and directed by the Farrelly Brothers, the men behind There's Something About Mary and Dumb and Dumber. Kevin Barnett and Pete Jones also contributed to the scripit.

IMDB sums up the premise: A married man is granted the opportunity to have an affair by his wife. Joined in the fun by his best pal, things get a little out of control when both wives start engaging in extramarital activities as well.

The film also stars Owen Wilson, Jason Sudeikis, and Jenna Fischer, and is being distributed by New Line Cinema. Amanda broke this news herself today on her Twitter!

She says, "Getting cast in this movie pretty much just made my life!!! I CAN DIE HAPPY NOW!"
