Almost three years to the day, Amanda Bynes is finally back on the big screen co-starring as uber religious high schooler Marianne Bryant in Sony Pictures' Easy A, also featuring Emma Stone, Penn Badgley, Cam Gigagnt, Alyson Michalka, Stanley Tucci, Dan Byrd, Patrica Clarkson, and Thomas Hayden Church.
The film revolves around a girl who lies about being promiscious in order to help social outcasts become accepted.
Budgeted at $8 million, the ensemble comedy is predicted to rise to the top of the box office class this weekend.

Gluck was really fortunate that this cast came together, because they're all so relaxed with each other, all so funny, and they all know exactly what tone to use to play this material. And with the young cast, everyone seems on their game. Speaking of Bynes...she was pitch perfect in "Hairspray," and she pins down a very different character here, making her Marianne a nice example of curdled Christianity.
