For the week of January 6, 2008 Hairspray on DVD ended its run in the top 30 and has sold over 4,350,000 copies and made over $84,676,011. Add in the $200 million to movie made worldwide at the box office and over $35 million in rentals (where it's still in the top 50), and Hairspray is a giant sized hit with over $319 million in total revenue! You really can't stop the beat.

Amanda Bynes News is the first fan site to break the news of Amanda's first new project in 2008!

Amanda has been added as a face of Vaseline. The ad campaign features each celebrity posing with their favorite part of their body they use the cream on. Amanda's ad features her legs and feet and debuts in the February 2008 issue of Glamour magazine.

Amanda says:

I've been performing since I was really young - dancing, running, doing pratfalls. Your skin is your canvas; it shows how active you are. The scars from when you are four tell the story of how you've lived your life.

Cincinnati.com spoke to Amanda in preparation for her Saturday appearance to promote Dear.

Question: What is the idea behind your fashion line. Why Steve & Barry's?

Answer: ... This is a clothing line for girls of all ages who like to feel comfortable and like clothes that reflect their personality. For me, I like colorful clothes ... that fit all the different moods I'm in.

(Steve & Barry's) is an amazing store filled with clothes that are so well made, but every piece is under $20... I just love the fact that clothes I would get to design wouldn't be overpriced ... And I love the fact the store has Bitten and Starbury with Stephon Marbury.

Q: What has been your biggest fashion faux pas?

A: ... I definitely wouldn't tell you because you'll find the photo and then it will run (in the paper). But since I'm 21, I'm finding my fashion legs at the moment. I like to try on different things. But you can't regret anything you've worn because it was what you were feeling in the moment. You can only learn from it.
