Bynes gives a lot of her credit to her parents for giving her a good childhood and continuing to keep her grounded. While she can hit the club scene legally, she keeps a low profile. She spends much of her free time hanging out with family and friends, she said.

"I like to go out and have a good time, but to a certain limit. If I have work the next day, I will go home early and get a good night's sleep. I'm not perfect, and I have made a mistake or two, but I learn from them."
And even a perfect girl can use a therapist, apparently. Bynes confessed she sees a therapist when the ugly side of show business gets to be too much.
"When I have issues or I'm upset about something, I stay home, I don't go out, I try to work it out with my therapist. I'm all for making yourself a better person," Bynes said. "This business can kind of make you crazy, be upsetting or you don't know who to trust, so you just have to work it out."

Sorry the updates have been so scarce, things have been slow with Amanda as she is touring for Dear at the moment.
Is there something in your wardrobe you just can’t live without?
Honestly, no. If I lost all my stuff, I’d be OK with it. I try not to get too attached to things because they are just material things. It’s family I couldn’t and wouldn’t want to live without.
How does your collection stand out from others out there?
I don’t look at anyone else’s really. I kind of do my own thing. I’m definitely inspired by designers all over the world, but there’s room for everyone. I’m not trying to change the world with my collection, but I wouldn’t mind setting some trends.

More information has been released about The Turks & Caicos International Film Festival at which Amanda will be presented an award on October 16.
The Turks & Caicos International Film Festival is coming up October 16. With six days of films that focus on music, the event is perfect for low-key cinema lovers who wouldn't mind skipping a screening or two to grab an umbrella drink or two.
The Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony vehicle El Cantante will open the festival, but better films are slated for the rest of the week, with entries from India, Hungary, the UK, South Africa and even Uganda scheduled. Amanda Bynes and Mos Def will also make appearances to collect awards.
