Bynes gives a lot of her credit to her parents for giving her a good childhood and continuing to keep her grounded. While she can hit the club scene legally, she keeps a low profile. She spends much of her free time hanging out with family and friends, she said.
"I like to go out and have a good time, but to a certain limit. If I have work the next day, I will go home early and get a good night's sleep. I'm not perfect, and I have made a mistake or two, but I learn from them."
And even a perfect girl can use a therapist, apparently. Bynes confessed she sees a therapist when the ugly side of show business gets to be too much.
"When I have issues or I'm upset about something, I stay home, I don't go out, I try to work it out with my therapist. I'm all for making yourself a better person," Bynes said. "This business can kind of make you crazy, be upsetting or you don't know who to trust, so you just have to work it out."
