Hairspray Movie Blog reports that the cast of Hairspray will be honored with the Hollywood Ensemble Acting of the Year Award for a Musical/Comedy. The awards will be presented upon the honorees as part of the Hollywood Awards Gala Ceremony on Monday evening, October 22, at the Beverly Hilton Hotel.

I can't think of anyone else who deserves this award more but the cast of this movie, who were all beyond perfect in their roles. Congratulations to everyone involved.
